It is the property owner's responsibility to clear the sidewalks, handicap ramps, and fire hydrants in front of their property within 48 hours of a snowstorm.  If you have a complaint regarding an un-cleared property, please call the police dept. at 610-779-1490.

 

We urge you to delay clearing sidewalks until the plows have cleared the streets so that they do no close your driveway or sidewalk and require you to do additional work.  There is no way to avoid the way the snow is plowed.

 

When possible, removal of vehicles from the street can assist the plows in snow removal from the streets, allowing for better parking and traffic movement.

 

Putting snow onto travel lanes on cleared township roads is a violation, and you can be fined.  Please deposit cleared snow elsewhere.
