Community Giving Campaign

According to Feeding America, there are over 38,000 food insecure people in Berks County. The unfortunate reality is that many people are only one unforeseen event away from becoming food insecure, homeless, or otherwise in need of help. Exeter Township is working with two organizations to try and lessen the burden for some of our most vulnerable neighbors.

The holidays can be a challenging time for families and individuals who are experiencing financial trouble. Each year, Toys for Tots is able to bring some joy to children who are less fortunate; in 2018 the organization was able to serve over 8000 Berks children.

The Exeter Area Food Pantry provides groceries to families in our community in need.  In addition to food, they run a clothing bank and toy drive for those who benefit from the food pantry.

Exeter Township will be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots between November and December 9th, 2019, and donations of non-perishable food items from December 2nd - December 18th.  See a full list of needed items here.

Bring your donations to the Administration Building, 4975 DeMoss Road, Monday - Friday between 8am-4:30pm.

Thank you for helping to make the holidays a little brighter for our neighbors in need.
