Drinking Water Problem Corrected:
PA American Water has announced on August 9, 2019 that it is no longer necessary for customers in Exeter Township in its Glen Alsace water system to boil their water before use. See the attached information provided by PA American Water for additional information.

Attention Pennsylvania American Water customers: This is an update on the current boil water advisory in your area. The advisory will remain in effect until two consecutive rounds of bacteriological testing confirm that water quality meets drinking water standards and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection allows the advisory to be lifted. We expect the second set of test results early
Friday morning. You will be notified with another call when the advisory is lifted.

Until the advisory is lifted, customers may bring containers to fill with potable water 24 hours a day at the Exeter Township building at 4975 DeMoss Road. From 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. tankers are also available at Giant Foods at 4655 Perkiomen Avenue, and Walmart at 5900 Perkiomen Avenue.
